Seriously. ASkars as Colbert is one PERFECT piece of casting. I love how Alex portrayed Brad -- so convincing and just right. It could've easily seemed pushed or fake -- Brad on paper is great. Any lesser actor could've made it seem over-the-top. But this... perfection. I love real!Brad. I think he's hot.

You said everything just right! Alex as Brad was perfect. I can't imagine anyone else in that role!!! And real Brad is kinda hot. In some ways he and Alex resemble each other. Alex is hotter, but still....lol

Ah give me a minute to sing the praises of the man..... Brad Colbert. Those two words make me smile. He always offered dry, sarcastic wit which I couldn't get enough of! Being of the same mindset I can relate to all the smart assed comments! I'll also agree that the casting couldn't have been any better!! GODDAMIT RAY!

I think playing a real person is always something to have to touch with gloves. And considering Alexander didn't even have the opportunity to meet the real Brad, and STILL portray him so amazingly, says a lot.Of course, we know it took him a lot of work, specially with the accent issue, but it sure wasn't in vain.If I was Brad, I'd be extremely proud

Actually, ASkars did meet the real Brad Colbert. As a matter of fact, Brad's girlfriend invited ASkars to Brad's birthday party the other year. It was in an interview ASkars gave during ComiCon. Even if ASkars didn't meet Brad until after the taping was over, Eric Kocher and Brad were in the same HumVee during their tour in Afghanistan, so Eric knows Brad really well.

"That song is straight homosexual country-music special olympic gay" And, of course, the best freakin' insult ever! "Then again the world wouldnt have to deal with the prospect of you returning to your cretinous, daughter fucking, trailer park, red state shithole, and producing mutant, whiskey tango, scrotum faced, buck toothed, zit exploding progeny."

Yes, but they didn't meet until after they returned from filming. I mean, he sure had material to base his performance on, but it's different if people tell you than if you meet the person you're playing in person. I'm just saying it must be more difficult the way Alex did it

Oh, I see. That does make a difference. I was under the impression from an interview I heard that they had met earlier.

I like that in chaos Brad can just walk around giving orders/organization during the shamal that knocked over their tent, showing his "true Iceman spirit" right from the start.
